Since its emergence at the beginning of 2003, as an exciting musical talent, Soweto Gospel Choir has achieved major successes both overseas and in South Africa with sold out tours of Australia, New Zealand and a sell-out performance at last year's Edinburgh Festival which will no doubt be repeated again this year as one of the headline acts. The Choir have been invited to perfom with such international stars as Bono, Queen, Anastacia, Peter Gabriel and the Eurythmics brought together by former president Nelson Mandela to raise awareness of Aids in South Africa.
This is their first UK tour as their success and reputation continues to shine worldwide bringing their earthy rhythms and rich harmonies guaranteed to uplift the soul of Glasgow.
