About eventsguide.org
Who we are
eventsguide.org is a ministry of Origin Scotland. Neither Origin Scotland, its supporting churches and partners necessarily endorse, recommend or support the events published by individual users on this site.
Calendar rules at a glance
- Christian Events Guide is for Christian events and events run by Christians only. This includes (but is not restricted to) praise and worship events, outreach and evangelistic events, concerts, sports events, seminars, teaching and training events, etc.
- The calendar is not for advertising regular church services. Any found on it will be removed.
- If you see anything questionable, please assist as by emailing the URL of the page, or details of the calendar date to abuse@eventsguide.org.
- Do NOT add events which occur frequently (ie: daily or weekly for longer than 2 months) to the main calendar. Any seen will be removed. Frequent events should be added to the "Frequent Events" page, and will be queued for admin approval.
Links to this site are also welcome. Please feel free to use the logo (top left of this page). Right-click and select "save image as" to get it.
It's simple, free and no-obligation. If you are likely to be adding events on a regular basis, it would be worth registering to cut out the admin delay. If you represent a church or Christian organisation, it is likely that approval would be automatic.
eventsguide.org is supported by donations. We have no paid staff, and we appreciate all gifts. If you are able to support this ministry, you can donate online by clicking the link on the left side of this page. We are a registered charity and so can benefit from the UK Gift Aid scheme. Thanks for your help!
What we believe
- The Divine inspiration, authority, sufficiency and total inerrancy of the Holy Scriptures:
- the right and duty of private judgement in the interpretation of the Holy Scriptures:
- the unity of the Godhead and the Trinity of Persons therein:
- the total depravity of human nature in consequence of the Fall:
- the incarnation of the Son of God; His work of atonement for sinners and His mediatorial intercession and reign:
- the justification of the sinner by faith alone:
- regeneration and sanctification by the Holy Spirit:
- the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the body, the judgement of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ with the eternal blessedness of the righteous and the eternal punishment of the wicked.
Eventsguide recommended
Keep an eye out for the "eventsguide recommended" logos. These can't be bought by promotors and are only awarded to those events that we judge to be outstanding.
